Public Speaking Events

After a few speaking events, I'm hoping to share my story about being a chronically ill, neurodivergent woman and unstoppable force in the STEM/cybersecurity field. This page lists my previous speaking engagements, so please feel free to reach out with any questions/inquiries!

The Real STEM Sadie:
            Owning Your Story

Individuals with neurodivergent conditions or chronic health conditions often shy away from being labeled - and with good reason.  A diagnosis can sometimes mean being pigeon-holed into someone else's limited categories of thinking. But the reality of human nature means we all resort to mental shortcuts to create a framework for everyone we meet.  So we might as well own our narratives!  That's exactly what Sadie does on her blog, where she writes about being "equipped with a different operating system.”
