The Real Stem Sadie
Equipped with a different operating system and dysfunctional hardware
One STEM woman's unique journey through life and cybersecurity
Who is Stem Sadie?
Sadie Gauthier is a cybersecurity courseware engineer for the SANS Institute and a former cryptanalyst at the U.S. Department of Defense. Also known as “the real STEM Sadie”, she’s a public speaker and advocate focused on neurodiversity and chronic illness representation in the cybersecurity workspace. She is passionate about and contributes to research efforts in the fields of digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), cryptanalysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
She's a lover of crypto-mathematics, puzzle and knitting addict, cat fanatic, meme-loving, style icon turned blogger - who also happens to have five rare chronic illnesses and is neurodivergent. Saddle up folks, this is going to be an interesting ride.
